Tokyo is a city of contrasts and extremes, old temples stand next to modern towers, the subways are packed yet the parks have a contemplative quietness. Fashion is also a big thing in Tokyo and Japanese women have great style and do not hesitate to mix classic and fun items to create statement outfits. Fun fact: Youma has always been fascinated by Japan and started drawing anime characters at a very young age. The essence of this city is what she wanted to reflect with our Tokyo dress, the shape is simple and classic yet the denim fabric is surprising and unexpected.
Are you feeling inspired by the Japanese fashionistas but not sure how to replicate their sartorial sophistication? Youma has styled our Tokyo dress below to give you some styling ideas to be your most on-trend self!
Outfit number 1 – A casual look for a busy day in the city
We love to mix our dresses with casual accessorises, it is a great way to wear them during the day time without being overdressed. The chunky ‘dad’ trainers are also very much on trend this Autumn so Youma couldn’t resist to give it a go!
Youma wore the Tokyo dress for a busy day in the city and in order to walk from meetings to meetings easily she accessorised it with Dolce & Gabbana trainers. She added a touch of fun with a colourful Gucci belt and kept it practical with a simple Valentino black bag that can fit all the essentials.
Outfit number 2 – Ready for a night out
The great thing with our Tokyo dress is that all you need is to add a pair of heels and you are ready for a night out!
Youma wore the Tokyo dress for an evening at the Opera Garnier in Paris and for such an elegant event she paired it with some nude Dior slingback pumps and the Lady Dior bag in red. This outfit is all about the small details with the mix of the colours and the sophistication of the heels’ finishing touches.
We hope this inspires you to mix our dresses with designer pieces and more casual items, and that it helps you style the Tokyo dress for many occasions this Autumn!

I’ve decided to start organising wellness retreats with one of the most important people in my life; my mom.
I know what you’re going to say… isn’t launching a yoga retreat WHILE running a full-time fashion business going to be a lot of hard work?!
